Mercy Estevez brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role of Executive Director at Recovery First, rooted in her deep commitment to delivering exceptional care and fostering positive patient outcomes.
Prior to joining American Addiction Centers, Mercy held executive roles in several prominent healthcare systems, including serving as CEO for Universal Health Services (UHS) across Memphis, Dallas, and North Carolina. She also fulfilled key leadership positions with Oglethorpe Inc. Hospital System in Florida. Throughout her career, Mercy has remained steadfast in her focus on building cohesive, high-performing teams, providing excellent treatment, and achieving meaningful clinical results.
Mercy earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Florida International University in Miami. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Florida and is recognized as a qualified supervisor within the state.
Her decades of experience in behavioral health and her unparalleled dedication to patient-centered care align perfectly with Recovery First’s mission. With Mercy’s leadership, Recovery First will continue to empower individuals and families on their path to recovery while delivering evidence-based treatment and compassionate support.
