		<description>This was a great article series!  However, I think that one strange fact about addiction that could be added here is the fact that in all likelihood, humans and even early hominid species were likely addicted to a number of stimulants throughout history.  This could possibly include the mysterious Soma, and other plants like khat.  

This strange fact to me means that addiciton is wired into us.
